Whether your organization has 2 users or 1,000+, PTG can recommend, install, configure and support an email solution that fits your needs.  It may be just a POP3 access to a hosted server or several in-house email servers.

In-house email servers that PTG supports include both Microsoft Exchange as well as Micro Focus GroupWise.

With the introduction of wireless technology in the office place several years ago, organizations have continued struggle with its speed, security and reliability of their in-house wireless systems.

PTG supports both SonicWall and Cisco wireless systems to offer our customers a choice in reliable wireless networks.  While both manufacturers have the security and reliability you need, each has distinct advantages that we can offer to your organization.

From a single access point to an enterprise wide wireless solution, or a mixed private and public use wireless system, PTG can handle your needs.

Remote Access

Virtual Private Networks

A virtual private network (VPN) extends a private network and its resources across the Internet in a secure and encrypted manner.  VPN's can connect remote offices to the home office.  VPN's can also connect remote employees or vendors to your internal network.

Remote Desktop Services

Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (RDS) (formally known as Terminal Services) offers organizations to extend their office to anywhere in the world while maintaining control and performance.  RDS also allows you to use existing older computers to run newer software in a cost effective manner.

GoToMyPC and LogMeIn are other ways organizations can benefit from the efficiency of working remotely.

Mobile Access to Email and Files

While the proliferation of mobile devices from phones to tablets have made life faster and easier, they have also made company resources harder to access and less secure.

PTG utilizes Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync and Micro Focus GroupWise Data Synchronizer to manage your mobile workforce email, calendars and contacts.

PTG also can give your users remote access to company files in a secure manner utilizing Micro Focus Filr.  Micro Focus Filr utilizes existing access rights through Microsoft Active Directory or NetIQ eDirectory.  This allows you to give your users a method of access their files as well as shared folders in a secure and controlled way.

Your network is only as good as the security you have protecting your data and resources within it.  Beyond physical security, network security covers many areas starting with your firewall to the Internet.  PTG utilizes both Cisco Adaptive Security Appliances (ASA) and SonicWall firewalls.

Web Filtering and Antivirus

Beyond the Firewall, Web Content Filtering by Barracuda Networks and Antivirus from Symantec Endpoint Protection are also key components.

Spam Filtering

Spam protection by Barracuda also gives your network an additional layer of security as well as productivity in your users not having to sift through thousands of "junk" and dangerous emails every year.

Disaster Recovery and Backup

The most essential part of your data security is Backup and Disaster Recovery.  Your data is the lifeblood of your company.  Every hour you are without important data, your organization suffers - from loss of productivity to loss of revenue.  The protection of your data with reliable backup technologies along with a disaster recovery plan is a key component to your organizations' overall technology strategy.

Vendor Management

Improve your productivity and focus on running your business. By lifting the burden of dealing with multiple vendors, you can regain lost productivity, giving you the time to do the things you really need to do.

Adaptable Support

Whether you need assistance installing a single workstation or upgrading a server farm. Troubleshooting a problem of a single user not able to access their email to an email server that is down. PTG can deal with your IT support issue no matter how small or large it is.

IT Outsourcing

If you just need remote support and/or on-site support or IT staff augmentation, PTG is your source for your IT outsourcing needs.

PTG also is available to consult on your Intranet or Internet site design, hosting and management requirements to give your organization the site you need but not spending your entire IT budget on getting it.
